How to Crochet a Makeup Pad Remover

I am always thinking of something new to crochet and to use. I had decided to stop buying things that I could crochet or sew to reuse over and over again. I use this pad to wash my face with. I love this. The great thing about the pattern is that you can make it any size you want. I used this pattern and crocheted a makeup pad, washcloth, and coasters. This is great for yourself or gifts for loved ones.

Instructions

1. Chain 4 then slip stitch the two ends together. Then chain 3.
2. Then crochet 11 double crochet (dc) stitch. You should have 12 in all. Then slip stitch and chain 3.
3. Then do 2 dc in each stitch. You should have 24. Slip stitch and chain 3.
4. Then do 2 dc in 1 stitch and then 1 dc in the next. Repeat this until you reach the end. You should have 36. Slip stitch and chain 3.
5. Do 2 dc in 1 stitch then 3 dc in a single stitch. Repeat this then slip stitch. Cut the yarn and pull yarn through. Weave the end into the makeup pad.

How to Crochet a Preemie Hat

I love to crochet. I have never crocheted a preemie hat but one day, I decided to try because I had some leftover yarn. The leftover yarn wasn't long enough for a big project but it was perfect for a small hat. One evening, I sat down with a cup of coffee and just crocheted until I ran out of yarn. These hats are great if you know someone who has a preemie baby or just to donate them.

I am grateful that my grandmother taught me how to crochet. She taught me the basics and I learned the rest by watching YouTube videos. It's amazing how much you can learn by watching videos on YouTube.

You need to chain 3.
In row 1, you will need to do 12 double crochet (dc) in the 3rd chain.
Then do a slip stitch.
Chain 2 then turn over.
In row 2, you will need to double crochet (dc) in the same stitch as chain 2, 2 double crochet (dc) in each stitch.
Then do a slip stitch.
Chain 2 then turn over.
In row 3, you will need to double crochet (dc) in the same stitch. 1 double crochet (dc)in next stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch, repeat around.
Then do a slip stitch.
Chain 2 then turn over.
In rows 4 to row 7, you will need to crochet 1 double crochet (dc) in the same stitch as chain 2. 1 double crochet (dc) in each double crochet (dc) around.
then do a slip stitch.
Chain 1 then turn over.
In row 8, do 1 single crochet in each double crochet (dc) all around until you get to the end.
Then do a slip stitch.
Cut the yarn and pull it through the hat.

How to Crochet a Dishcloth

                                           

The first thing that I do when crocheting a dishcloth is to pick out the color, decide how big it will be, what size hook and what kind of stitches should I use. I love the single crochet stitch for when I make a dishcloth. You can do any stitches that you want. When you have answered the questions, it is time to begin.

What You Need to Crochet a Dishcloth:

* 100% cotton yarn (I use Peaches & Cream) any color

* Size 5.00 MM crochet hook (any size will do)

When crocheting a dishcloth you need cotton yarn because you need yarn that is durable, washable and has the ability to handle wear and tear. Your dishcloth will be wet most of the time.

Make a chain of 23 and do an extra chain so you can turn it. When you start the next row, skip the first chain. Crochet a single crochet stitch through each of the chains when you get to the end of the row, you should have 23 stitches. At the end of each row do an extra stitch so you can turn it. Each row should have 23 stitches. Continue the single crochet throughout the dishcloth until you are done. When you are finished, cut the yarn, put a knot at the end and weave the extra into your dishcloth.

When you are done with the desired size, tie off the end and make a knot. Then weave the ends in the dishcloth. This is what it will look like when done.

Pattern:

First row: chain 23 stitches

Rest of the rows: 1 chain stitch and 23 single stitches
